Healthy programming languages require welcoming communities. Outreachy provides paid open-source internships for underrepresented technology participants, with OCaml involvement dating to 2015. We've coordinated recent rounds through Jane Street and Tarides funding. Outreachy has proven an excellent source of new OCaml developers, though the program faces recent funding challenges.
